Clips, pins, a tote and a towel

Hair & Beach

The things that end up in the beach bag. A claw clip that holds wet hair, pins for a bun, a tote woven in Andalusia and a towel thin enough to carry. This is the least glamorous category and the one we use every week from June to September.

01

Why acetate and not plastic

Acetate costs three times more and does not snap when it is cold or when you sit on it. The claw clip is the piece customers replace most, usually because a plastic one broke, so we used the material that does not break.

02

Straw that survives a summer

The tote is woven from natural straw with a flat base and leather handles. It will soften and darken, which is the point. Do not fold it; stuff it with a towel when you store it so it keeps its shape.

03

The towel is meant to be thin

A flat-weave cotton towel folds to the size of a book, dries in an hour and gets softer with washing. It is not the plush hotel towel; it is the one that fits in the bag you actually carry.

04

Gifting

The pins and the clip are what people buy as gifts, usually in threes. We can add a handwritten card in Spanish, English or German and send it directly to the recipient; say so on WhatsApp with the message you want.

FAQ

Does the claw clip hold thick hair?

Up to medium-thick. For very thick hair, use it half-up or take two. It opens to 9 cm.

Can the tote go in the washing machine?

No. Spot clean with a damp cloth and let it dry in the shade. Water softens the straw.

Do you gift wrap?

Yes, a white box with tissue paper and a handwritten card in Spanish, English or German, free. Say it on WhatsApp with the message.

Is the towel big enough for two?

It is 100 by 180 cm, so one person lies on it comfortably and two sit on it. For two lying down, take two.
